Course questions

Still deciding? Read our guide Which digital skill should you learn first?

How much do courses cost?

As a nonprofit, we keep training as accessible as possible. Some places are fully funded by JD STUDIOS AFRICA or partners and are free for the learner; other tracks ask for a contribution. We confirm the exact cost for your track and format before you commit, and there are no hidden fees.

When is the next intake?

We run cohorts throughout the year. Apply now and we will tell you the next start date for your chosen track and format.

Can I take more than one track?

Yes. Select every track you are interested in on the application form and we will help you plan the best order.

What is the difference between in person, online and hybrid?

In-person sessions take place in Nairobi. Online sessions run live over video with the same mentors. Hybrid combines both, which suits learners who cannot travel every week.

What do I need to apply?

Just your contact details, the tracks you want and your experience level. The form takes about two minutes. We verify your email address so we can reach you.

Will I get help finding work?

Every course builds a portfolio. Learners who complete strong projects are introduced to apprenticeships, freelance briefs and partner opportunities where they are available. We do not promise jobs, but we do open doors.
